We still have no idea what causes this bug because there's no point in the code that changes the score by a negative value. Coding is fun. 

Unfortunately, it's not an option, since paid assets are not allowed for this Game Jam

I figured out what was wrong with the save system like 20 minutes too late :c

The current version of the game has save system working perfectly fine, but we no longer can upload it, oh well
